I first found Breathe Education through a Google search. I was looking for a Pilates certification program that would be able to teach me the fundamentals. What I received from Breathe was so much more! After reading some reviews and asking a bunch of questions I decided to take the plunge.It was a longer program, set up over 21 weeks, with live tutorials that were mandatory to attend. I didn't realize just how comprehensive this course was going to be. It felt like I was back in school, which I loved. You have coursework, there's so much information (which at first feels a little overwhelming, but is so valuable), you have to meet outside of tutorials with your peers and practice teach, there's a logbook to track your personal practice, and there are assignments due throughout the course (but nothing you aren't prepared for, don't worry there's no essay due). Because of this highly organized setup, you actually LEARN the material. I can't imagine trying to learn all that I have in a weekend where you spend 8 hours a day cramming information and later have to take a test on it. I can say with certainty that I know the ins and outs of Pilates and teaching Pilates.But there's more. I didn't realize that you not only learn Pilates and how to teach it through the Breathe Education course, but you also gain the confidence needed to teach well. I can see the drastic change in my confidence in teaching, which I didn't expect to learn, I thought that would be something that came with years of actual teaching. Breathe Education gives you the tools and the space to be able to gain that confidence.Everyone that I've met and interacted with because of Breathe Education, whether that be my peers, trainers or support staff, have all been so lovely! I always felt supported and valued as a student and as a teacher. I left with new friends who I can stay in touch with for years to come!All in all, I enjoyed this program immensely, and if you're willing to put in the work you will come away with skills that will translate to so many aspects of life, not just teaching Pilates. When I was looking to get certified in Pilates, I found one of my greatest challenges would be to find something that was affordable and geographically accessible. I found that based on my location, becoming certified was virtually impossible... unless I did it virtually! Which is how I came across Breathe! I love that they offer a well rounded and in depth program, where you don't have to spend thousands of extra dollars for "specialties", like prenatal and injuries--they are already a part of the program. I appreciate how they set you up to succeed. They incorporate practical assessments throughout the course, instead of having one big test at the end; I personally do not test well, even when I fully understand a concept, so this was incredibly helpful. From my first conversation to my last tutorial, I felt seen, encouraged, and supported.The online learning portal is very user friendly, and should you require any assistance, Breathe Education is contactable via Slack 24/7. The team are very prompt in responding to requests and answering any questions.I absolutely loved the content of the course. The lectures and tutorials are information rich but not overwhelming so, and the assignments are great for cementing your knowledge and focus. The tutorials are definitely a highlight – amazing tutors and fellow students and a safe space in your learning journey.Initially, the scariest part was the thought of teaching in the PT sessions, but this turned out to be one of the best resources. I can't recommend Breathe Education highly enough. I completed my Cert IV two years ago and have started my Diploma which I am absolutely loving. After completing multiple courses through other providers, no other course comes close to the confidence and knowledge I have gained as an instructor through Breathe. The quality is so exceptional that I have recommended and seen 5 others complete their Certs, and as a studio owner I will not take anyone else that hasn't done the course because of the incredible quality of the Breathe instructors. I'm not easily impressed. Ask my family and friends. Especially after my dealings with some other International Pilates Education providers in the past. But so far, I've only got good things to say about Breathe Education and their team.Before enrolling for the Breathe Clinical Pilates Diploma, I dived into the many free and valuable resources (Podcast, Community Sessions, Raph's IG account). This gave me a good feel for what to expect. Real talk. Healthy debate. Regularly refreshed course content to reflect current research and best practice. They seem committed to Pilates practitioners flourishing whether employed or self-employed profitable businesses which I LOVE!A quick call with Kylie helped me to ascertain whether the Diploma or the Certificate was best suited to me. The onboarding process was easy too.So far, I'm impressed by the bonus 1-1 Business Planning Session I had with Raph, the promptness with which the Breathe team reply to any queries by email or on Slack, and the layout of the course content and communication across smart tech platforms that don't lag. I can't wait to get into the Visualized Anatomy Course which is waiting patiently for me on the platform.The course itself is great. It's meeting my goals and I am recommending it to all my movement-teaching people.

I would HIGHLY recommend Breathe Education. They create such a positive environment, and encourage individualism. They have taught me so much, and turned me into a confidant pilates teacher. The layout of the course was great, I loved that we could work at our own pace, and that they gave us only so much material at a time so I never felt overwhelmed but always eager! I am thankful that I made a great decision to choose Breathe Education for Certificate IV pilates course. I have zero pilates matwork and minimal reformer experience before I start the course course. I was really struggling in the beginning as I know not much of any movement or exercises. I need to remember the movement and teach at the same time which is challenging. But trainers in Breathe and peers in course are really supportive, their feedbacks and constructive comments had made me improve throughout the journey. Now I can confidently teach pilates. I would love if Breathe can have physical class for cert/diploma students.

I absolutely loved my experience getting my pilates certification through Breathe Education. Having only 1 (one!) pilates class under my belt, Breathe Education did a great job creating a healthy and empowering learning environment. The formatting offered just enough flexibility so that I could manage my professional and personal life while taking on further education and it also offered enough structure to facilitate progression and accountability. Initially I was worried at how effective an online platform could be to learn how to instruct pilates, but Breathe has mastered this! I felt very connected to my Breathe Community- both the instructors and fellow students. I also felt a strong sense of empowerment in being able to ask clarifying questions and seek further assistance. Tho it was all a virtual experience, there were enough opportunities and requirements to practice teach in the "real world" so that I feel ready and confident to bring my teaching to my community. I can not speak highly enough about my experience with Breathe Education!

WOW... what an amazing journey this course has been, from beginning to end there was support from the Breathe team. I have completed this course feeling super confident and ready to hit the ground running.Breathe was recommended to me by the pilates studio I practiced at, they said it was one of the most progressive and up to date courses on the market in the world, which after completing I can absolutely agree with.I loved Breathe as it gave me the flexibility to do all my learning online, which meant I could maintain my full-time job too. The coursework was presented clearly and for the most part there wasn't that annoying filler information that lots of courses do. My only criticism is that the average 9hrs of time required to do the work each week is not true, I and the people in my PT sessions said it was much more like 15hrs a week, which did make for some huge days when working full time with family commitments.Natalie my trainer was absolutely brilliant, our weekly tutes were always so much fun and inspiring, and she was there to answer any questions we had along the way too. I loved connecting with others doing the program and have made some lifelong friends for sure.100% recommend this course to anyone wanting to become a Pilates teacher. THANK YOU!

This course has been life changing. After the pandemic, I needed something to re-start my business as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. In the past I looked at various Pilates instructor programs, but it did not resonate. Then I listened to an elephant podcast, and I was hooked.When I looked into the training, I loved it was all online, except for one weekly tutorial. This training kicked my butt, and it helped my own flexibility and movement skills. And very important, the course was exciting and motivating! The way the course is set up is very organized so you do succeed, but you have to show up and do the work every single week.At the end, the learning and skills, experiences with other students, and confidence as a teacher really make me excited for the next chapter as a Pilates teacher. As a positive side on Breathe methods of teaching, not only providing knowledge on original repertoire but focus on teaching us how to teach, paying attention on the client, injuries, pregnancy and empowering us on how to modifyExercises when need and the other tools we might need in this journey. Definitely feeling more confident in every PT session, loved how they encourage you to find your voice and be yourself as you teach.On a down side I wish had more availability of times for tutorials
